I love Maine weddings. Weddings in the middle of nowhere are always intimate, thoughtful and beautiful. As was the case with this Beech Hill Barn wedding with Emily and Ross. I remember driving to the wedding and thinking I was lost. Wait, I was lost because Google maps didn’t quite have this place figured out, but I eventually found my way to this gem after several turns down some dirt roads. As I pulled up to this place I knew there were going to be some gorgeous photos. The ladies got ready in a house across from the barn. Old beam and stone made for some lovely detail shots, and the large space allowed me to secretly tiptoe around and capture some awesome candids. Perhaps my favorite setting was the open grassy field. The ceremony took place in front of the stone wall, and at sunset we captured breathtaking portraits. I’ll stop typing and let the photos say the rest.
