Katie and Tucker’s Rockport engagement session is featured on Style Me Pretty today! I’m so excited to finally share more about this lovely couple and this beautiful engagement shoot! Katie and Tucker met on the sailing team at Roger Williams University. They fell in love on the water, so it was only natural that we picked a nautical destination for their engagement session. Rockport fit the bill! Rockport is a quintessential New England fishing and lobstering village, somewhat untouched by time. The town has remained true to its roots, and has maintained its fishing village charm all these years. And that means there are SO many beautiful spots for photographs.
We first photographed along the wharf, and then hit up the pretty storefronts adorned with beautiful backdrops for portraits. As the sun was starting to set, we made sure to snap a few portraits in front of Motif Number One. While we were photographing, we met a nice couple who let us use their sailboat for a few quick photos – how nice of them!
The sun was sinking down closer to the horizon, so we quickly ran over to the rocks and beach to snag some magical sunset shots. In our last set of photos, when Tucker was twirling Katie on the beach, I think these two forgot I was even there. They were laughing, twirling, kissing and so completely in love. It was perfect.
