It feels amazing to be writing this blog post! This is the first wedding I photographed after my own wedding at the beginning of May. It feels oh-so good to be back doing what I love. I learned a lot as a bride that I will definitely take with me as a wedding photographer. Perhaps the most important takeaway is that candid moments captured are absolutely priceless and timeless. Okay, so I knew this before, and with my photojournalism background, always entered into a wedding with a fly-on-the-wall mentality, but now I have a renewed focus after receiving back all of my amazing candid photographs from the talented Fat Orange Cat Studio. There is just something so beautiful about reliving an emotion captured in a photograph.
I could go on and on, but let’s get to the good stuff – Erica and Ben’s wedding at The Towers in Narragansett! These two are awesome! I melted every time Ben looked at Erica, and Erica looked at Ben. They had that look that was so much fun to photograph. Another highlight from the wedding was the awesome string lighting adorning the ceilings at The Towers. The space looked so magical and dreamy!
